Margaret Dabbs hand serum – Yay or Nay?

Margaret Dabbs hand serum

Who is Margaret Dabbs?

The line’s inventor is a professional acclaimed podiatrist, who has foot clinics and nail spas in UK and Dubai. Her idea behind the brand was to make hand and feet treatments not only effective, but also luxurious. To make people want to take care of them, just as much, as any other part of their body. The key ingredient in her products is Australian Emu Oil. Renowned for its incredible healing properties it has been used medicinally for thousands of years.

The Review

Margaret Dabbs

The Margaret Dabbs hand serum is a completely unique product. I don’t think any other brand has something just like it. It includes antioxidants to reduce the signs of ageing, replenish and protect the skin of your hands. It has a light, gel like formulae, that quickly sinks in to your skin. My hands felt smooth, silky and not greasy ( which is my problem with a lot of hand products).

Also the amazing fresh smell of mandarin mixed with geranium, really give this product a luxurious feel. It is very spa-like!

You can use it on its own or in combination with a hand cream. I usually use it as my night time treatment, applying it under a heavy duty hand lotion, for that extra nourishment. But it is also a great product for the summer time, thanks to its light and fast absorbing texture. All together I really do enjoy this product and think it is a great way to pamper yourself,

It really helps to make even the simple procedure of applying hand cream special.

My only problem with it, is the price. It’s definitely a high end product and you only got 30 ml in the jar. Even though a little goes a long way, I still think, that it isn’t really worth the money.

I probably wouldn’t repurchase the serum, as I think it’s more of an “extra” product. You don’t really need it. I would, however, love to get it as a gift.

There are hand creams that do a similar job, for less money and with a greater variety of scents, packaging etc.
